Who stole Harry Potter's magic blanket?

Watch this video to find out the answer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rov3pV9PsRI . Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I have no clue how to put an YouTube video in my post. By the way, Regina Spektor's new album "Far" deserves a good listening if you haven't done so yet!

All items in this outfit are vintage and thrifted

The other day, I went thrifting in my favorite second-hand store, and was happy to unhearth this pair of vintage Levi's denim shorts. It's one size too big, but I can live with it.

Seekers Who Are Lovers

Martin Margiela t-shirt, Gap jeans, AA gym bag

The great Conor Oberst from the band Bright Eyes once sang "if you love something give it away". Who knew that seven simple words that once put together in one sentence could stir such contradictory feelings in me? The “angel-me” is saying “Yeah! This is great! Pure genius truth!! Love isn’t about possesion! Peace and love, yo!!” And then, there is this “devil-me” who screams “No way, if you love something, keep it for yourself you fool! If not, at least try to SELL it dude!!" Oh well... this is why I am not that soul-tortured artist able to pen meaningful lyrics that will elevate the average-you to a better-you, and He is (yes with a capital ‘H’ because Conor is God to me) . Hail to you, Conor! Let me be the thief now.

Indeed, here I am trying to take money out of people's pocket on Craigslist (mine has holes in it). I’m selling some of my clothes that didn’t get enough love. On the opposite hand, I poured, TO MY OWN DESPAIR, so much unjustified passion on less than seven plain and ugly pieces (1 black pen, 1 pair of blue jeans, 2 or 3 shirts, and my ready-to-be-thrown-in-the-garbage Converse shoes). These items got very little wear. Throwing them away would be an financial suicide for me... yeah especially in this economic crisis where everything is as stale as the water in your backyard’s little pond... What?! You don’t have a pond? Of course you do have one if you're from Montreal! You know... with all the rain we got... Montrealers shall have a hole filled with mud and water by now. God love raindrops, this is why he give them away, eh?

Post

I never blogged before today.

Lately, I have been following many interesting blogs about fashion and clothes. I got so inspired that I decided it's about time for myself to let some creativeness out of my head and...closet too.
